Susan Butcher 1954-2006
I remember rooting for her to win
I remember rooting for her to winthe Iditerod--the most difficult race of our time
When she was asked how she did it, Susan simply said, "I got up and started before everybody else and I stayed on the trail after everybody else was done"
She bravely fought leukemia and is no doubt mushing her dogs in a lot better place!
Who's tougher now, huh guys?!
